Verizon Starts iPhone 4 Pre-Orders on February 3rd

Verizon has informed its existing customers that the carrier will start accepting pre-orders for eagerly anticipated iPhone 4 onFebruary 3rd. Actually, just to be on the safer side, you might want to set your alarm clocks to 3AM EST, as pre-orders are available on first-come, first-served basis. The offer has been communicated via an email and only existing Verizon customers are eligible for this. Rest of the iPhone enthusiasts and AT&T switchers will have to wait till February 10th, when the CDMA iPhone 4 hits the market.

Verizon has certainly made a smart decision to start the pre-ordering process at an ungodly hour. This would mean that the company website servers wouldn't get overwhelmed during the day time when the masses jostle around for pre-ordering their phone. If you are an individual customers then you need to login to www.verizonwireless.com/iphoneorder for your pre-order, where as corporate clients will need to access www.verizonwireless.com/businessportals. Let's see what kind of buzz pre-order process generates.
