Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc to Retail for £459.99 in the UK

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, a 4.2 inch display phone with 8.1 megapixel camera, is now available for pre-order from British retailing website Play.com. The phone is listed with an RRP of £499.99 but for pre-ordering the phone, you just need to part with £459.99. Sony Ericsson has not announced any launch date yet but the site itself has stated April 1 as the release date.

Sony Ericsson had introduced the phone during recently concluded Consumer Electronics Show. Claiming to be one of the world's thinnest phones, Xperia Arc comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and provides 720p HD video recording support through its 8.1 MP camera. The phone also features an HDMI-out port. The company has said that Arc will be "available globally in selected markets, including Japan, from Q1."
