Apple's Policy is simple 'Please do not screw up our devices." And the company's latest action to thwart the evil, evil plans of do-it-yourselfers around the world is to install a new type of screw on its iPhone 4. The company is shipping all its new iPhone 4 with these round-edged five point star shaped screwheads. Also, if you have older iPhone 4 and you happen to take it to the Apple Store for service, the geniuses will tack on the new Pentalobe screw head to your phone. The main point is to stop the tempering of Apple devices.
However, Apple should note that geeks may love Apple devices but they can also work their way around all the restrictions placed by the Cupertino behemoth. Soon after the news of Pentalobe screw head spread around, iFixit appeared as a savior and came up with its "Liberation Kit". The kit comes complete with a screwdriver for these screw heads. Once you remove these offending screw heads using iFixit screwdriver, then you can install conventional Philips screws to your iPhone. The kit also contains Philips screws along with the screwdriver. And you can get the kit for mere $9.95. Take that, Apple.

I love this “Liberation Kitâ€. Just a simple message to Apple, you are not the only genius /resourceful persons on this planet. Whatever you do, whatever screw you put to our device, will will find a way!
