Samsung had recently updated its Nexus S owners about the imminent arrival of Android 2.3.2 update. The tweet sent bythecompany had mentioned that the phones will be getting the OTA update "over the next few days." However, some Nexus S Owners have already reported getting the update. Now, that's some pleasant surprise. The update is expected to fix the nasty SMS bug which caused the texts to be sent to wrong contacts. Since, the tweet did not mention anything else, so we are going to assume the update is not going to do anything about the restart problem faced by some Nexus S phones.
And No, Google has not completely abandoned its first baby Nexus One. The phone is also set to get its Android 2.2.2 fix. However, the update is more like a maintenance update, but at least it send the message that Nexus One is not entirely forgotten. So, if any of you have the updates on their Nexus One or Nexus S, let us know how it is working for you.

So the Nexus One gets 2.2.2 update.
What happened to us getting Gingerbread!!!
With all the claims from Google stating that the Nexus One will get Gingerbread in the “upcoming weeks” (since December), this maintenance update (2.2.2) makes me believe that Nexus One owners will have to keep holding on for a 2.3 update. My guess would be not before MWC.
My Nexus One is rebooting continually now that I installed the 2.2.2 update. Not recommended!!!
