Another year, another Sony Ericsson Android Smartphone.
Hoping to repeat the success of their X10 and X10 Mini the electronics company have released the details of their latest google OS running smartphone the Xperia Arc.
Running on 2.3 the slim and stylish looking handset is even thinner than the recentely announced Samsung Infuse 4G.
Crammed into its thin shell is a 4.2-inch multi-touch screen with 'Reality Display' and mobile BRAVIA Engine.
Plus, a Sony Exmor R for enhanced low-light photography and video capture, an 8.1 megapixel camera, HD video recording and of course the good old Android market.
There's also a few snazzy treats chucked into the mix as well such as a NeoReader barcode scanner, 3D games, Wi-Fi, turn-by-turn navigation, the list goes on and on. (check out the source link for full specs.)
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc will be released globally in selected markets from Q1 and at first glance it looks like a fantastic handset. We'll keep an eye out for reviews.
But one thing, what's with 2.3? where's Honeycomb?
