iaPeel iPhone and iPad skins – fully customise your new gadget.

No doubt a fair few of you out there have got an iPhone 4 or iPad for Christmas, or already owned them or the 3G /3GS equivalent. Even if you get the White iPhone 4, what’s to stop you mixing up your new beauty with the million others in the office? How about a skin? But not just any skin – how about one you can print yourself, allowing you to show off your graphic design skills or winter holiday snaps? iaPeel – I choose you!

Design...
... Print ...
... Customise!

Punningly named so as to annoy spell checkers everywhere, iaPeel Printable Skins do pretty much exactly what they say on the tin. Use the included link to access the software, grab your favourite photo and crop, position and generally fiddle to your hearts content before printing off your unique skin on an inkjet printer. Peel it, stick and, if you like, even make a customisable screen saver to match it.

Available in iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPad sizes, the phone packs all come with ten sheets (five front, five back) and the iPad version comes with three sheets. They promise to not gunk up your gadget on removal, so you can change when you get bored. Well, you customise the screen with apps galore, so why not do the same with the casing?

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
