Here they are; the leaked images of the iPad 2 that we've been expecting. Well, I say leaked images let's not get too excited. Firstly they're only images of the 'case' and secondly they were taken down quicker than you can say Apple.

The leaked images said to be of iPad 2 cases hit 9to5 Mac but then as the story goes, "an unnamed company" promptly contacted sites with takedown notices because the leaked images are “extremely accurate” to the design of the iPad 2.

From the leaked images we expect to see (on the iPad refresh)-

-Apple’s rectangle-to-curves redesign as seen with the iPhone and iPod touch devices.
-Tapered edges
-A larger rear speaker
-A rear-facing camera.
-A mysterious, unidentifiable port (Please be USB)

And the fact the images were quickly pulled down suggest that they really are the real deal.

So let's wait and see if some renegade blogger gets hold of the pics and puts them up despite the unnamed companies angry letters, failing that, I give at a month at the most before we see more leaked pictures related to the new iPad in some form or other, either that or a cheeky document from a shop database or something along those lines.

It probably will be the USB that all the companies agreed to put in for universal charging.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
