RIM deny rumours of poor battery life in BlackBerry PlayBook

Don't worry BlackBerry fans the rumours that the PlayBook has been suffering from cripplingly short battery life is not true. Well that's according to RIM and they would say that wouldn't they.

The slightly struggling tech company said that-

"Any testing or observation of battery life to date by anyone outside of RIM would have been performed using pre-beta units that were built without power management implemented. RIM is on track with its schedule to optimize the BlackBerry PlayBook’s battery life and looks forward to providing customers with a professional grade tablet that offers superior performance with comparable battery life.”

I guess we will just have to wait and see won't we?

Hopefully the PlayBook will come and blow us all away and RIM will grab some much needed credibility.
