LG Reveal 3D AV Devices For CES 2011 Showing

LG are looking to really stand out at CES 2011 on January 6th, and it’s not just smartphones that they will be showing off at the huge Las Vegas tech event. LG have teased a series of 3D Audio Video devices which consists of two home theatre systems – the HX996TS (a Real 3D Sound Home Theater System) and the H906SB (a premium Blu-ray 3D Disc Home Theater System) – and a network Blu-ray 3D player – the BD690.

The LG HX996TS is the more impressive home theatre system which is a 1280 watt, 7.2 channel system. The HX996TS features WiFi Direct, Ethernet and DNLA support, support for external HDD playback, and a pair of HDMI v1.4 inputs.

The LG H906SB is a 1100 watt 5.1 channel system and shares the HX996TS’s features, but also includes a mobile remote app and an iPod cradle.

The BD690 is a network Blu-ray 3D player with an internal storage of 250GB. The player has Wireless LAN and WiFi Direct support, native audio CD archiving support, a photo download capability, and content sharing options.

We expect  LG will have much more to reveal at CES and we also expect to see a lot more from companies in the 3D TV market coming in the new year. CES 2011 is one to look out for.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
