Although it probably doesn't come as much of a surprise, Microsoft will be getting their second batch of Windows Phone 7 devices ready for February next year at the Mobile World Congress.
At the annual mobile show-off event - which starts in Barcelona - we will be seeing a number of new devices running the Microsoft OS for mobiles, with the leading device being the E600 from Acer.
It also looks like some new phone manufacturers are going to be working with Microsoft too, with manufacturers such as Lenovo and ZTE who are preparing for the WP7 debut in China.
Windows Phone 7 had a huge buzz with its release this year, but it seems the Microsoft OS hasn't been doing anywhere near as well as originally anticipated, with unofficial stats suggesting the first line of devices haven't been making enough of an impact against rival OS giants Google's Android and Apple's iOS.
This second batch may hopefully be a second wind for Microsoft, giving users more devices to choose from, although some speculation about the original line-up's unexpectedly low sales was that there was too much choice, confusing the market in what phone would be best.
