Android 2.2 version of the Windows Phone 7 running Dell Venue to hit Korea this month

One of the most hotly anticipated Android handsets this year, the Dell Venue (formally known under the codename 'Thunder') is soon to be launched in South Korea.

Korean carrier KT has revealed that the 4.1 inch Froyo running device features a 4.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a curved Gorilla Glass display.

The Android version of the Windows Phone 7 Venue Pro will hit Korea for 700,000 won ($608) later this month.  But unlike the Pro there's no QWERTY keyboard and instead all typing is done touchscreen style.

No other specifications are known at the moment but it shouldn’t be long until we see see some previews.

There's no news on a US or UK launch but it is expected to follow shortly after the South Korean release so we'll probably see the Venue in January.
