Google has announced a slew of updates for its Google TV. Apart from the usual bug-fixing, the new updates will let you search apps,
internet and channels simultaneously. One of the more interesting changes is the Dual View feature, where you can browse the internet and watch the TV at the same time. You can also adjust the windows for your maximum convenience. The update has also enhanced the Remote control app for Android devices. With the updated remote control app. You can use integrated voice search or can resize the windows on your TV, all this straight from your phone.
Google has also revamped the Netflix app to allow you to search and watch your favorite shows or movies from Netflix's streaming service. The update has also brought a new feature which is akin to "Related" function. So when you search for a particular title, the result page will also show the movies associated to that particular title. Google would be using Netflix, Amazon Video on Demand and Live TV as cache for its search results.
Google has already started rolling out the updates but since the roll-out is staggered so the luckier ones would be getting it before the others.
