UK Mobile operator, Three, has announced that it has abandoned the data caps on its "The One Plan". The plan was launched in July this year. Three has said that it is aiming to provide "peace of mind" to its customers while they use their smartphones for surfing the net. So, now "The One Plan" subscribers do not limit themselves to the earlier quota of 1GB data and are fee to use as much data as they want without incurring any additional cost.
In this way, Three is clearly going in the opposite direction to other major UK service providers such as Orange and Vodafone. Most of the major carriers are now doing away with unlimited data plans and are moving towards tiered plans. Three has said that its new initiative will let the users enjoy the full benefits of various services such as music, high definition videos, games and video conferencing.
Under "The One Plan", you can get 2000 minutes to be used on any network, 5000 minutes which you can use on Three-to-Three calls, 5000 texts and unlimited data. You just have to pay only £25 for all these goodies.
