TV segment is sure getting heated up with companies vying with each other for introducing bigger and better TVs. The latest entrants in the field are LG's Nano Lighting Technology equipped TVs. LG's new range has integrated LEDs with HDTV in a new unique way. Generally, LEDs are either placed on the edges of the display or behind the display. These arrangements tend to make the display look unevenly bright. The new TVs have now embedded the thin film LEDs behind the LCD panels.
The new range also has a new feature which lets you locally control the brightness of individual LEDs and thus helps in achieving purer color performance. LG has not announced the prices for their new lines LW9500 and LW7700. The new line will have screen range from 47 inches to 60 inches.
LG has also launched LG HD Sound Bar with 280-watt power. The Bar has six built-in speaker drivers and it will complement the company's 42 inch TV range. It also has Bluetooth support and thus is compatible with Bluetooth equipped smartphones.
