So, what exactly does this smartpen do? The primary feature of this gadget is the ability to record handwriting using its three core elements; the pen’s high-speed camera, an integrated pressure sensor and specialised dot paper.
When the Echo is used on Livescribe’s proprietary dot paper, the pen records a digital image of anything that’s written, and if the internal microphone is enabled, the audio also syncs with the text.
