New footage has emerged of the Playstation Phone running a game on Qualcomm's Neocore benchmark app. The prototype, which is also being referred to as the Zeus Z1, shows the good looking game footage at 24.2 fps (whether this will be the speed of the final product or not is unknown but unlikely).
Although the Playstation Phone is still a bit of a mystery despite the amount of leaks about it, it's only really had speculation regarding the specifications that the Phone will have. There seems to have a general consensus that the device will be using a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 processor, 512MB of RAM, an 8GB microSD slot and a large 4-inch display.
The device also seems to be likely to run on Android 2.3 when released, after new gaming keys were found in the Gingerbread code.
Sources within Sony Ericsson revealed earlier in the week that the Playstation Phone is coming out March next year, with its official revealing expected to be given at MWC 2011 and CeBit 2011. This is definitely one to look forward to next year. A video of the game running on the prototype can be found in the link below.
