It looks like Apple is well on its way developing iPhone 4 for Verizon. The company's jobs board now features a job listing for
CDMA engineers, which provides a further proof. iPhone's current carrier in the US, AT&T does not use CDMA but Verizon uses this technology. Apparently, the Cupertino company is looking for engineers who are expert in 'GSM, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, HSDPA' etc. technologies.
We have been hearing about Verizon iPhone 4 from a long time, but both the companies have yet to provide any concrete launch date. Recently, AT&T was rated the worst mobile carrier in the US according to a consumer survey. This sounds like a good opportunity for Verizon. As and when iPhone-AT&T exclusivity ends in the US, More than a handful of AT&T customers are likely defect and shift to the new mobile carrier provided. Rumor has it that Verizon may get its own iPhone by the spring of next year. Would you change your carrier, once iPhone makes its shift? Let us know.

I hope 4G can live up to people’s expectations. And also, I hope that this new technology has something new to offer aside from a different name. I would like to congratulate Verizon for being the first company to launch 4G! Honestly, I am quite optimistic with this one although I am quite doubtful if the bandwidth will be able to keep up with the demand.
