Advent Vega Stocks Can’t Keep Up With Demand?

The Advent Vega tablet appears to be much more popular this Christmas than Advent ever could have anticipated. First of all, the initial stock ran out within 24 hours on the websites they were being sold on, and the second stock running out incredibly fast too. Now, the third batch which came out today has run out already.

The Android tablet which has been showing off some good specs is currently being sold on Dixons, Currys, and PC World websites at its bargain price, and Advent can’t seem to keep up with demand.

The dark horse tablet is already appearing on eBay like a sold-out festival ticket, being sold for (in some cases) £100 over the RRP of £249, with some selling as high as £390.

If you don’t already know what the big deal with the Advent Vega is, make sure to check out our previous stories to keep up. To all those trying to get hold of the device for a Christmas gift, good luck, resist the eBay touts, and make sure you keep on pressing that F5 key.

    Well,

I managed to order one of these and PC World charged me on 2nd December and have now contacted me to say that they dont have any in sotck. Great customer service ! Charge me for something that you dont have. Much as I want one I dont want to pay for it if you havent actually got any!

  • Expect yours around the 9th…. I ordered mine on the 27th and only got it yesterday. Well worth the wait though!

Thats cool Paul ! I called them yesterday and they said they are still waiting on them because of the weather but I am sure it will be worth it !

  • There are two types of case that Currys sell one has Advent impressed into the case the other is open at one end, do not buy the open ended case the pad can slide out and fall to the floor and you end up with a problem like I have, no Advent. If you have the open ended case I would advise you take it back. Do not use it.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
