After being trialed last year, it seems Microsoft has decided to bring about their Xbox LIVE Rewards scheme out officially for all Gold and Silver members. The Xbox LIVE Rewards scheme gives free Microsoft Points whenever the account owner makes certain purchases or takes actions from recieving 10 MS points for renewing 1 month of Xbox LIVE Gold to 400 MS points for purchasing the Xbox LIVE Gold Family Pack.
The rewards scheme is also offering MS points for taking monthly surveys and also offers some nice incentives for first time purchases. Although not confirmed, it seems even current users who renew or purchase something for the first time since the scheme has gone live will get the first time MS points, even if they had purchases something before it launched.
As well as this Microsoft are teasing ‘cool prizes’ for participating in exclusive promotions. Who knows you could win games, avatar items, or maybe just more MS points.
