When it comes to mobile phone camera technology, this is one thing that you shouldn’t downsize on, and Samsung are definitely sharing the same ethos. They have just announced that they will be bringing out a 8 mega ‘whopper’ pixel of a camera to all their new mobile phones.
Here’s the techie bit…they will be using a 8.5mm CMOS digital camera module for their next gen mobile phones, which will upgrade their 5-megapixel phones to 8-megapixels. If you thought that things couldn’t get any better then the camera module will feature anti-shake, 1-cm macro mode, face tracking technology and a smile shutter feature.
Already record breakers in bringing us super slimming mobile phones and now with the mega whopper increase in camera pixel size, it all seems rather contradicting to me, but in the world of Samsung anything is possible!

That tiny little phone is ridiculous!
Hi Henry,
The image of the picture is actually the camera not the actual phone.
I know what you mean though, if the phone was that small I think I would have problems finding it in my bag!

I’m amazed and happy to say that garmin products is of high quality albeit the price is also a bit high but it’s worth paying.
