It looks like Acer's smartphone Liquid Metal might be hitting the US shores some time soon. During a press session, a senior Acerofficial made the statement and it is being speculated that the device might be launched in Canada as well. Roger is likely to be the service carrier for this smartphone. For Liquid Metal's US release, it looks like that the company is currently considering AT&T and T-Mobile as its channel partners.
Acer Liquid Metal phone is already up for grabs in various European countries including France. This stainless steel phone comes with chrome finish and runs Android 2.2 aka Froyo. Liquid Metal uses its proprietary Breeze User Interface and is powered by Qualcomm 800MHz chip. The phone has convenient screen real estate of 3.6 inches and the capacitive screen is capable of displaying 480×800 resolution. It also offers Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
