Intel had displayed Ocosmos OSC1 UMPC during IDF2010 and now we have some more information about this Oak Trail tablet. This
ultra mobile PC is likely to sport a 1.5GHz or 1.9GHz Oak Trail CPU and will run on Windows 7. Apart from this, the tablet will also have Wi-Fi connectivity, 3G as well as have Bluetooth 2.1. Its capacitive screen will measure 5 inch and is expected to have resolution of 1024×768. The tablet will also have a sliding QWERTY keyboard.
Ocosmos is adorned with two cameras. Its back camera is 5MP strong whereas front camera is 1.3 MP. It has internal storage capacity of 32 GB which you can augment by using a MicroSD card. Its Li-Polymer battery is expected to last about 3 hours however the company itself has claimed the batter life to be about 10 hours on full charge. The company has not divulged any details about the markets in which the tablet will be launched. However, it is expected to hit the shelves during the first quarter of 2011. No word on pricing either as the company is still looking for carrier partners.
