Advent Vega Online Orders Sold Out Already

It’s been less than 24 hours since it became available on the PC World and Dixons websites, but the Advent Vega tablet has managed to sell out on both already. Both sites showed the tablet earlier in the week, but only yesterday did the tablet become available for purchase. It seems demand for the device has been much higher than Advent could have anticipated.

Currently both sites are reading “Due to unprecedented demand we have sold out and will be back in stock next week”, so if you missed out this week make sure you check back frequently in case the same thing happens again. There is still the possibility that the Advent Vega will be hitting the stores shelves this weekend, but this is currently unconfirmed.

We’ve been keeping an eye on this tablet from Advent, and it seems they are on to a winner with this well-specced, low-priced device. The release timing, although it has already been delayed by over two weeks due to making final touches to bring out a quality product, seems to be ideal for the present shopping season when demand for tablet devices is high and many people will be looking for the best deals possible and with a price tag of £249, the Advent Vega is definitely drawing attention to itself.

With the ‘unprecedented’ demand for the Advent Vega will the company be able to keep up with this kind of popularity for their first tablet? I guess you’ll know based on how hard you find getting a device in the next few weeks. If you don’t know what all the buzz is about, make sure to check out previous news on the Advent Vega.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
