One thing I hate about driving is scrambling to find a parking space during the most busiest times. I sometimes wish that my car would disappear for a bit and appear once again when I’ve finished my much needed chores…like shopping!
Wishful thinking, but we may not be far from it with Scientists at Massachusetts Institute of Technology solution to all our parking woes by developing a vehicle that can fold itself whilst parking. They have created a prototype of this new car at the campus museum and there are plans to build a full scale model. Just before you get hopes up, this foldable frame is not a car but a virtual computer on wheels and it can easily fit itself in eighth of the space required to park an average car.
Revolutionary it is, but there is still very little news on whether this virtual model can be implemented into a full-scale car for Joe Public. I hope they hurry up and make one soon so it can stop our parking nightmares.
