Google Search Now Offers 'Instant Preview'

Google had recently released 'Google Instant', which now has gained much acceptance, but the company is not resting on its laurels. Google's new feature 'Instant Preview' will let you preview websites featured in its search results, before you actually click on them. Each search result will be accompanied by a magnifying glass icon and upon clicking on that icon, you will see a picture of that website. So now you can decide whether that particular website is going to serve your purpose or not and you do not need to waste your time clicking on useless websites.

Google will also feature a box above the picture which will zoom in on the sections of the website containing search terms. The internet search giant has said that new search function will improve the quality of search as word-based search results do not tell the complete story. The company has also claimed that instant preview users are 5 percent more likely to be satisfied with their website selection. The feature will be introduced in a couple of days, so don't forget to tell us about your experience with this new function.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
