Yesterday we told you about the latest GPU to be coming from NVIDIA which was being kept tight-lipped about just about everything to do with the card but their new vapour cooling system (although they did show off some impressive graphics capabilities).
Well, what NVIDIA have brought to the table is the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 and with it come the specs. The GeForce GTX 580 offers a 772MHz clock speed, 512 processing cores, and a 192.4GBps memory bandwidth thanks to the 1.5GB of GDDR5 which clocks at a 4GHz rate. For those who want to take things two steps further you SLI up to three of these if you are feeling rich and have a lust for power.
According to CRN, the GPU is coming in at $499 and that NVIDIA have boasted that the GTX 580 has a 20 to 35 percent performance boost over the GTX 480 (a card which they already boast as the fastest around).
