BlackBerry PlayBook seems to be gaining momentum and the tablet is getting feelers from various channel partners. Currently, it is rumored that initially DropBox and Best Buy will stock PlayBook and there is a not so well known carrier which has announced its claim to the tablet.
Telecommunication Services of Trinidad & Tobago or TSTT has said that it will carry the PlayBook. The company has also pegged the release date of the tablet at February 2011. TSTT currently has over 60,000 BlackBerry users on its rolls so we are willing to lend some credibility to this claim.
Ever since its announcement, PlayBook has been at the center of rumors regarding its eventual release. Many have gone to the extent of calling it a vaporware. Lately, BB had been showing off this device which has more or less crushed the rumors of this tablet being a vaporware. This tablet has been designed to use BB as a modem. So, what is your opinion about the release date of PlayBook? Do you think Research in Motion can meet the Feb 2011 deadline or will it be pushed further? Let us know.

If they can get production running smoothly and all the components are delivered in a timely fashion, the February date is not unreasonable. Of course, many of us who already own Blackberries, would like already like to have ours. Can’t wait!!!!!
