Gucci & Calvin Klein Launch Designer 3-D Glasses

So, nowadays practically everything is going 3-D, including the real world! Ok, poor jokes aside, the serious issue is that we hate ugly 3-D glasses and until the day of "3-D sans glasses" arrives, we are stuck with these monsters. But now help is at hand. Designer brands Calvin Klein and Gucci have now launched their own ultra-stylish 3-D glasses.

However, style comes at a price and the Gucci glasses will set you back by $225 a pair whereas Calvin Klein glasses are comparatively modestly priced at$180.You can use these glasses to watch your 3-D TV as well as 3-D theater. However, these designer shades will not work with Dolby 3-D or IMAX.

If you are not ready to shell out even $180 for CK then there are Oakley glasses at $120 price point. However, be warned, if you are thinking about putting these glasses to multiple uses. Oakley has categorically stated that the glasses are not optimized for outdoor use and should primarily be used for 3-D cine viewing.

Oakley has further said that the glasses are aimed at early adopters looking for "solid fit and function". So, we say it is time to get rid of those generic 3-D glasses, cinema halls love to dole out. Are you planning to get one of these designer glasses this holiday season?
