Asus have released a new notebook – The ASUS-Lamborghini Eee PC VX6 – which has been co-designed by Italian car manufacturers Lamborghini, based on their Murcielago LP640 Roadster. The VX6 boasts fast speeds and high quality thanks to their high performance Intel dual-core processor (1.8GHz for each core), their USB 3.0 ports for high speed transfers and responses, and their 512MB NVIDIA graphics card with Optimus technology. The VX6 is packing some other nice features including a 1.3-megapixel webcam, a 1366 x 768 resolution, and Windows 7 already included.
The memory is unfortunately a little disappointing for a note book which boasts so much about it’s speed, with 2GB almost being the norm on a lot of new notebooks now, but it is without a doubt still a fast machine, ideal for those of us who always have a lot of programs running at once and would be ideal for all but the most high-performance obsessed gamers (who would also definitely want at least a 1GB Graphics card). The notebook is also very light, meaning easy transportation (hopefully not flimsiness) with a modest 6-hour battery-life.
The notebook without a doubt is very nice on the eyes thanks to the Lamborghini input, and compares itself to the Murcielago at every opportunity (but lets remember this is a notebook here). The notebooks full specs include:
