The 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab has officially been released in the UK today, but a 10-inch model which has not been released yet has accidently been leaked by UK network provider T-Mobile.
The leak, which has already been removed from the T-Mobile website showed a potentially upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab, which surprisingly in it's photo was not showing an Android display but instead the Windows 7 Starter Edition operating system.
According to the specs shown on the accidental leak by T-Mobile, the 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab has a 1024x600p resolution, a 1.66GHz processor, a rather massive 160GB harddrive and 1GB of DDR2 RAM. These kind of specs are sure to give Samsung a potential edge over their biggest competition in the Tablet Market, Apple.
The 7-inch model which was launched in the UK today across a few network providers, sports only Android 2.2 at the moment, with no word on a Windows 7 version coming.
At this moment there has been no word from Samsung on the bigger screen Galaxy tab, and if you're expecting a UK release any time soon you may be a little disappointed. Despite this, the leak being from T-Mobile means we can perhaps be a little hopeful about the probability of seeing this Tablet in the future, showing that the market competition is likely going to be more fierce in the future.
