Fallout: New Vegas has come out on top in the UK gaming charts this week, overtaking previous top spot holders Medal of Honor from EA who are now holding the silver medal.
Fallout: New Vegas is set in the year 2281, some years after the events of the incredible post-apocalyptic, sci-fi FPS Fallout 3 (although the game isn't to be considered a direct sequel). As opposed to the Washington D.C setting of its predecessor, New Vegas shows us what's going down in (no suprises here) Las Vegas with much of the same game mechanics which were very much loved in Fallout 3 (fans of the game are unlikely to be disappointed).
Other notable top spots in games this week include Professor Layton and the Lost Future who have made a new entry to the charts in at 4th, and Halo: Reach has been pushed out of the top 10, (although only into 11th).
Fallout: New Vegas is available for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 so chances are you aren't going to be missing out on the game (unless you are a Nintendo fanatic).
