So if you are looking to make high quality voice calls from your phone, then here is the good news for you. Orange hasannounced that its offering Samsung Omnia 7 will have Hi-Def Voice feature enabled on the network. Samsung Omnia Pro already has this facility and so do a couple of Nokia handsets. HD Voice calls provides you better quality along with reduced background noises and interruptions.
Orange is currently striving to rope in more handset makers and networks for gaining traction on the HD Voice front. However, until Orange is able to garner more support for this technology, only Orange customers will be able to avail of this facility. No such luck for T-Mobile customers using Orange network on roaming, though.
However, the success of this trend depends a lot on the quality of the hardware. Now, let's see how many handset manufacturers decide to enter the foray.
