It's Android update time again. Samsung has started rolling out the Android 2.2 update across the Galaxy S range.
Froyo on Galaxy S is an exciting prospect set to offer users such juicy new feature such as,
– Google Maps with Navigation: GPS navigation system with voice guidance
– Adobe Flash Player 10.1: Allow the web browser to make full use of the whole web
– Setup Wizard: Quickly customize the GALAXY S and access networks with ease
– Home Screen/Menu Preview and Edit : Preview by pinch-zoom
– Search in-Browser: Google, Translate, Wikipedia, Dictionary
But Android updates are never a smooth ride so problems are expected. The update's been live for a few hours and feedback is mostly positive at the moment, so fingers crossed they'll be no issues. Though by the time 2.2 gets onto everything that can run it Google will probably be starting to push an even newer OS out. Things don't stay still for long these days.
