BlackBerry May Get Firefox Home App

Mozilla team is looking release their Firefo Home App for BlackBerry consumption. Firefox Home is a cloud based application andit lets users access their Firefox desktop history, tabs and bookmarks. Once the app is out for BB, it would mean that you can access your Firefox data remotely from your smartphone. The app is currently available for iPhone, however, the BB version is likely to have a couple of new features as well.

The new version will allow for password synchronization, which means that you do not need to type in your passwords separately. You can also export your Firefox Panorama setting and tab groups to your BlackBerry. Similarly, other Firefox customizations can also be exported. With an emphasis on social networking, the new app allows for link, reviews and comment sharing.

You can also access Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites directly from Firefo Home. Mozilla is also planning to launch the app for Symbian platform. Although, the company does not have any plans for introducing Firefox browser for the iPhone, it is planning to developed Home app for iPad.
