iPad is looking to enhance its functionality and has announced adding a couple of new features to its cache. The tablet has now got the revamped versions of Keynote, Pages and Numbers Apps. The makeover for iWork suite includes usual patch update for fixing some bugs too. Keynotes update will now let you export presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint format i.e. .PPT and will also have the feature of copying presentations between keynote and WebDAV Service. The similar feature is available for Pages and Numbers too. So, now you can easily sync all your Keynote, Pages and Numbers files.
The new feature of grouping and ungrouping objects will certainly come handy too. Numbers now has the support for exporting the files in Microsoft Excel format, whereas pages will now support opening .txt files from mail. Apart from this, Pages will now also display the word count for your documents. Each App is priced at $9.99 and is available for the iPad only. With these updates, iPad has inched closer to replacing netbooks for routine tasks. Well done, iPad.
