We reported earlier that design sketches of the HTC HD7 had been leaked online, giving a sneak peak at the smartphones specifications and appearance. Those earlier leaks seem to have opened the doors to 'rumourmongers' and  now the internet is littered with photos of the Windows Phone 7 device. That's right. Not design schematics, but actual photographs of the phone itself which you can see below.

The photos confirm a 4.3-inch WVGA screen, 1GHz Snapdragon SOC (the same QSD8250 as rumored for the Mozart), a 5 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, 720p video recording, and 8GB of built-in storage.

It's looking like a very attractive handset so far. The hardware isn't exactly mind-blowing but it does the job, the screen looks great and most importantly it's Windows Phone 7. Early indications suggest the Windows OS is going to be a fantastic system and the retailers and networks seem convinced with news earlier emerging that all UK networks are set to take up the Windows phones. Android may not have won just yet.

What do you think of the photos then? impressed or not?

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
