While rumours are constantly flying around for the long awaited release of the white iPhone 4, we may just have another that supposedly comes from the big Apple himself, Steve Jobs.
The rumour is that an Apple fanboy e-mailed Jobs enquiring about the phone, only to get a rather simple yet promising response.
The e-mail from Nathan, a student read, "Hello Steve, My name is Nathan, I'm a high school student from San Bernardino. I also happen to be one of your biggest fan and a total Apple fanboy and proud to be I've been saving up money to buy the new iphone 4. I want the white one but Apple said it won't be available until later this year. I know you must be asked this question hundreds of times a day but do you think we can expect to get the white iphone for xmas? I hope you can answer. Thank you Steve."
Sounds like a pretty standard bit of fan mail, but the response received (unfortunately unverified so believe at your own risk) said, "Christmas is later this year."
So is this e-mail anything to go by or should it just be brushed aside as a Student trying to get a little (anonymous) attention? Leave your thoughts below.

Sounds like Steve Jobs is taking the p*** lol.
If Apple say it’ll be out later this year and Christmas is only a week before the end of the year, Apple would be pretty dumb to release it after Christmas and before new year.
