Nokia C3 Touch and Type Feature Phone Announced: Nokia Still Hasn’t Completely Let Go of its Past

With Nokia blatantly trying to get into the Smartphone game with their rather impressive Symbian^3 range, it's surprising to see something which is taking us back to the old school when mobile phones were just that. Well sort of anyway.

The Nokia C3 touch and type feature phone is very similar to the Nokia X3 which was recently released. The phone uses a T9 keypad, but also has a touchscreen to use for navigations and reading messages.

The stainless-steel phone has a 5-megapixel camera with flash, built-in wireless, and connectivity wise, the phone can connect to GSM and EDGE and is quad band.

It seems like a pretty standard mobile phone for those who want something fancy without the huge price tag (which is €145 before tax and subsides), but if you're a contract user you're more than likely going to want a cheap Smartphone anyway. The phone looks good regardless and is likely to appeal to a niche. Leave your thoughts on this phone below.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
