HTC Desire HD and HTC Desire Z Officially Announced

Yes it's September the 15th. It's HTC's big day. There's going to be one announcement after the other. We've already had red balloons of hate from Nokia, we're waiting for some surprises and right now we've got what we were all waiting for.

Its official the Desire HD is here. A solid block of aluminium with a 4.3-inch LCD screen, sporting a 1GHz 8255 Snapdragon processor, 8 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash and 720p video recording, Dolby Mobile, and HSPA+ data with 802.11n, not forgetting WiFi.

The new phone will be available in October, with Vodafone announced as a launch partner.

And just when it couldn’t get any better, HTC and Vodafone will also be bringing the Desire Z to Europe and Asia in October.
The Android running QWERTY 'pop-out keyboard -featuring' new HTC handset offers a 5 megapixel camera with flash that’s HD video capable a 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7230 processor and comes loaded with HTC’s enhanced Sense UI.

These are a couple of great looking handsets and should do well in the UK phone market were the original HD proved extremely popular.

Now we just have to sit and wait patiently for the reviews and hope they’re positive.
