You may have heard the name HTC Trophy. Well it's a Windows Phone 7 handset that was rumoured to appear a while ago but then disappeared and now it's back again. Nothings official yet but the HTC Trophy was spotted in a Vodafone database in Germany.
They really need to be more careful with their databases. Little is known about the new smartphone other than is (probably) a 'candybar' device with a 3 inch touchscreen, a QWERTY keyboard and a 5 megapixel camera.
And in other HTC news the HTC Desire HD which is highly likely to be announced tomorrow has had its specifications leaked. Apparently the HD will feature a 4.3 inch WVGA (800×480pixel) display, an 8 megapixel camera and 8GB of internal storage. It is believed that the HD will run on an Android operating system. There was however a leaked picture of the phone which appeared to show it running the Windows 6.5 though this is almost certainly a mistake.
The HTC Trophy however is thought to have originally ran on 6.5 and been postponed so that it could be released with Windows Phone 7 instead, which would explain its mysterious appearing and reappearing.
Maybe we'll see the Trophy unveiled tomorrow but if we do it will be overshadowed by the Desire HD and the wonderful unexpected surprises that we hope to see.
