Samsung i8700 Windows Phone 7 Video Leak

It's been a crazy year for the smartphone industry. Android has practically conquered the OS market, iPhone 4 is doing well now that the antenna disaster has died down, BlackBerry's had its go with the Torch and Nokia have ignored pleas for MeeGo and thrown its energy into Symbian at least for the time being. What am I trying to say? That it's time for the Windows Phone 7 now. It's going to be the next biggest thing. We have the HTC event tomorrow and the Samsung i8700 (among other rumoured Window’s handsets) is floating around.

The much anticipated i8700 Windows Phone 7 phone has sprung up a couple of times and because no build up to any self-respecting new smartphone is not complete without a cheeky 'leaked' video.

Here it is.

The video , Courtesy of Vlad Savov of Engadget (via Daily Motion), shows a massive six minutes of Samsung i8700 sneak peaking.

After this leak it won't be long until rumoured specs begin flying around. Of course, all we know for certain at the moment is that the handset will run on Window's mobile OS and therefore it will need the hardware sufficient to handle it and it will look something like it does on the video, though handsets have been none to change between the leak and release period.

Check the video out and tell us what you think. Is this a smartphone you need in your life?
