When using an Android device, their notification system (although very useful) can become a clustered and confusing mess if you don't keep up with everything that's going on. It seems however that a new Android Notifier which sends your notifications via WiFi or Bluetooth to your OS X desktop (with Linux support on the way and the project looking for a Windows volunteer) could help solve this issue.
It has been tested by Engadget who say it works as described, but only phone, SMS, MMS and voicemail notifications are sent, and unfortunately clearing the notifications on the computer doesn't clear them off your device. However, it's probably a good idea to remain optimistic, since the service is free and it is likely to forgo different changes in the future. Have you used this new Notifier feature?
