Tesco who previously had clubcard app and 'wine finder' on the iPhone have now released a full blown groceries shopping app allowing you to do your whole weekly shop straight off your iPhone.
Once you’ve registered at the Tesco website and downloaded the app from the iTunes store, you can find products, create a shopping basket, check out and even arrange a delivery and another useful feature is that if you’ve already made an order online on a computer, you can change it with the iPhone app.
There's a ‘favourites’ section as well as nutritional and storage information for some items. This follows a similar Tesco app on the Ovi Store.
Tesco said that it went for Nokia’s platform first because Symbian devices are much more widespread among its customers than iPhones but now Tesco is looking to create apps for other platforms.
Rumour has it that paying with your card when using the app is s frustrating process but if you’ve already registered for Tesco services online, providing your payment details in the process, then it’s easy to use the apps to buy what you need. Just a little heads up for you there.
So what do you think of this app? Is it something you'll use?
