It's all happening with HTC on September 15th. Following the revelation earlier this week that the suspected HTC HD3 has been re-dubbed the HD7 to match its Microsoft Windows Phone 7 mobile operation system, news has now arrived that the new handset will be officially unveiled during HTC's London-based event next week.
There's been talk of the September 15th event for a long time now but the exact products that are to be unveiled have been so far shrouded in mystery and speculation.
The follow up to the HTC Desire, the Android 2.2 running HTC Desire HD is expected to make an appearance next Wednesday along with an Android powered tablet device, but Android will be taking a back seat at the event as all eyes will be on Microsoft's hotly anticipated mobile operating system.
Little is known about the HD7 but Industry speculation and 'leaks' claim HTC's Windows handset will come equipped with a 4.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen with 1200 x 800p resolution and a 1.5GHz processor along with a HDMI port and 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and HD video recording capabilities.
Look out Samsung Galaxy S and iPhone 4, it looks like HTC are bringing out some smartphones of monstrous proportions next week.
