After the great reception received towards the Samsung Galaxy Tab when it was officially unveiled at IFA last week, it's no surprise that Samsung are feeling confident about the device.
In fact, Samsung are confident enough to say that they will have sold 10 million devices by next year. If this number were to occour it is estimated
that this would make up one-third of the tablet market worldwide.
The device, which has a 7-inch Super TFT LCD screen and is running on Android 2.2 Froyo is being put on a pretty hefty price tag of around £617 while in the USA there is an expected retail of around $200-$400 although this is supposedly the subsidized/contract pricing.
At the right price, we may be seeing Samsung's estimates being true, however my money is still on the iPad to be taking the top spot in sales. I guess we'll have to wait a year to see if Samsung will be eating their own words or not. Are you looking to get a tablet device in the next year, and if so have you already decided on which you will get? Leave your thoughts below.

10 million – that being just a bit too ambitious. Good luck Samsung !
