New Colour-Changing Google Doodle: What Have Google Got in Store for Us?

So it seems Google weren't planning to end their mystery doodles with yesterdays dancing blobs, as there is now a new greyscale doodle which fills in the letter colours as you type. Coincidently, Google is making an announcement about search later today.

On Google's twitter, teaser comments on the doodles have been made. On yesterday's doodle Google wrote, "Boisterous doodle today. Maybe it's excited about the week ahead"¦" and on today's doodle they have written, "Our doodle is dressing up in its brightest colours for something exciting coming very soon".

It is more than likely this "very soon" is referring to this afternoon when Google is having an event for the US press about new search innovations. Today's doodle has raised speculation that the real time search feature will be unveiled.

Yesterday's doodle however, is still a little more mysterious but has also been speculated to be related to something new about Chrome and HTML5, although of course it could be something entirely new. Either way, the Google announcement will hopefully reveal all.

Are you expecting anything special from Google? What do you think of the recent doodles? Leave your thoughts below.

I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
