Internet Explorer 9 gets a Video Demo: Have a Sneak Peek

Microsoft is only a week away from the beta launch of its Internet Explorer 9. Although, a couple of days back, some details about the browser were 'leaked' on the company's Russia website, Seems like the company has managed to slip-up yet again. This time, the 'leak' is in the form of a video demo-ing the newly fangled browser. Earlier, it was reported that Internet Explorer is likely to sport cleaner and leaner looks a la Chrome, but after viewing the video the explorer looked very much alike the current version of the browser.

Microsoft had earlier released four Platform previews of IE9, but those previews are basically aimed at developer community. However, the proposed beta launch will be a full-fledged browser ready for en masse use. Although leaked video does point out a new UI, but a lot of features such "Tear off Tab" and "Favorite" are missing. These features were mentioned in the Russian website goof-up. It goes without saying that I am feeling a wee bit disappointed, however, beta launch is not the end of the story and the development work will keep going on even after that. Anyways, in the video, the browser has scored not-so-bad 95 out of 100 on the Acid3 test. Click on the link below and let us know you rating for the browser.
