Philips have revealed a brand spanking new 3D TV at IFA; The Philips Cinema 21:9 Platinum Series 3D TV, and it's looking to be a rather incredible.
The television is based the 21:9 2D model released last year, with glasses-required 3D (assuming you have the discs and channels to appreciate it with). The television supports 1080p HD and has an LED backlit screen with a 400Hz refresh rate for a very smooth image.
The Philips Cinema 21:9 Platinum Series 3D TV could be yours as early as next month, assuming you don't mind parting with €3999 (£3320 approx.). Will you be forking out, or are you just waiting until 3D is more worth while (or cheap)?
