Orange Release Super-Tough Android Handset

Ever broke your new phone? Of course you have. That's why Motorola are attempting to save you from the annual heartbreak of realizing that nothing you do will save your phone.

The Defy's no joke either. It has a 854 x 480 pixel resolution capacitive touchscreen display measuring 3.7 inches which (finished in scratch-resistant, Gorilla Glass)

Swype is also included for fast text entry.Around the back is an impressive 5-megapixel camera with an LED flash (offering video capture at 640 x 480) resolution, plus a 800MHz processor with 2GB of onboard memory.

The Motorola Defy will be available in Q4 in the UK. No news on price yet.

Nor do we know if its had the ultimate test of being dropped in the loo.
