Microsoft are putting their full weight behind the release of Kinect. With analysts predicting Sony's Playstation Move to come out on top in the motion gaming war Microsoft are doing everything they can to get people excited for the release of the latest Xbox add-on.
They've took Kinect on tour through the UK to give consumers a taste of what to expect come November. Now Microsoft has announced its range of official Kinect accessories. They have partnered up with American gaming accessories supplier PDP to create four Kinect peripherals which allow for a wider range of options when positioning the motion-sensing device.
There's a:
Wall Mount ($14, or £10)
TV Mount ($39.99, or £26) allowing Kinect to be mounted on any TV from 26 to 60-inches.
Cable Extension ($49.99 – £32) which adds an extra 9-feet to the wired connection, and
Floor stand ($29.99 – £20) which features an adjustable, camera-style tripod base to help protect the Kinect from 'foot traffic 'and dirt
The accessories will be available for the device's November 4th US launch. There is no word yet whether they'll be available for the UK release date on November 10th. We'll keep you informed on any updates.
